Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Streetlight Software ("we", "us", or "Molten.Bot") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Molten.Bot service (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information (e.g. name, email, authentication identifiers).
  • Billing information (processed by our payment providers; we may receive billing status and limited payment metadata).
  • Service and technical data (e.g. IP address, device/browser info, diagnostics, logs, and security signals).
  • Support communications you send to us.
  • Data stored in your hosted environment. Your OpenClaw instance may store data you provide (such as configuration, prompts, files, and outputs). We host that data on your behalf.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Provision and secure your hosted OpenClaw environment
  • Process payments, prevent fraud, and manage subscriptions
  • Provide customer support and troubleshoot issues
  • Improve reliability, performance, and user experience
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies

3. OpenClaw Governance and User Control

OpenClaw is an open-source project. When you run OpenClaw through Molten.Bot, you control the governance of your OpenClaw instance (for example: which agents you enable, what tools or integrations you configure, what credentials you provide, and how your instance is used). We provide hosting and operational tooling, but you decide how your OpenClaw instance is configured and operated.

OpenClaw is governed by its open-source license. You can review it here: https://github.com/openclaw/openclaw/blob/main/LICENSE

4. Responsibility for Actions and Interactions

You bear sole responsibility for (a) your use of the Service, and (b) the actions, outputs, and interactions of your OpenClaw software — including how it communicates with or affects other people and third-party services. This includes responsibility for any content you input, store, generate, transmit, or publish using your hosted environment, and for ensuring your use complies with applicable law and third-party terms.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, payment processors, infrastructure providers, and error monitoring services), and with law enforcement or other parties when required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary based on the type of data (for example, backups may be retained according to your plan and deleted after their retention window).

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. You can also request account closure by contacting us.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
